Throughout her career, Shannon has represented clients in complex commercial and government contracts litigation, as well as regulatory matters, including drafting and implementing compliance programs for entities doing business with the federal government. She started her career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom L.L.P. in New York, NY in the General Litigation group before moving to Washington, DC and working for Dickstein Shapiro L.L.P in the Government Contracts group. She has represented many pro bono clients, and most recently, has worked as a volunteer child custody mediator in the DC Court system’s Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division.

She is an avid reader, traveler, and connoisseur of wine. She’s also the mother of 3 boys and a dog named Tater Tot.
