The Short-Form Application window opened on July 8, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. ET and will remain open until 6:00 p.m. ET on July 21, 2021. Upfront payments will be due by 6:00 p.m. ET on September 2, 2021. A mock auction will take place on September 30, 2021 with bidding to begin on October 5, 2021.

As a reminder, there will be 4,060 new flexible-use licenses up for auction in the 3.45-3.55 GHz band divided into ten 10-megahertz blocks by Partial Economic Areas (“PEAs”). The 3.45 GHz band is adjacent to the 3.5 Citizens Broadband Radio Service band and potentially compatible to the 3.7 GHz “C Band.”
