Reminder: Annual Section 64.1900 Certifications Due May 1, 2025
A nondominant provider of interexchange telecommunications services, which provides detariffed interstate, domestic, interexchange services, must file by May 1, 2025, a certification stating its compliance with the Commission’s geographic rate averaging and rate integration obligations, pursuant to Section 254(g) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended1, and pursuant to §64.1900 of the Commission’s rules. The certification must be signed under oath by an officer of the company. Certifications must be filed in ECFS under CC Docket No. 96-61.

[1] Section 254(g) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, requires providers of interexchange telecommunications services to charge rates to subscribers in rural and high cost areas that are no higher than urban areas and to charge rates in one state that are no higher than rates charged in other states.
