Reassigned Numbers Database Now Live for Queries

As of November 1, 2021, registered users may query the Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) to determine whether a telephone number has been permanently disconnected or reassigned before attempting to call that number.  To access and query the RND, it is necessary to register as a Caller or Caller Agent, as well as select a Query Tier and set up billing information in the system. The RND contains reassigned number information from each provider that obtains North American Numbering Plan U.S. geographic numbers and toll-free numbers.
While use of the RND is not mandatory before contacting customers, it can help callers take advantage of the safe harbor from liability for certain calls under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) in addition to avoiding calling the wrong person. To query the system visit: https://www.reassigned.us/querying-data.
If you have questions or would like assistance with the RND, please contact Greg Whiteaker at [email protected], Robin Tuttle at [email protected], Hilary Rosenthal at [email protected], or Colleen von Hollen at [email protected].
