NTIA Releases Two Notice of Funding Opportunities

The National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) has released two Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs), one for its Broadband Infrastructure Program and one for its Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program. The Broadband Infrastructure Program is a $300 million grant program that will award grants to public-private partnerships for the deployment of fixed broadband services to eligible service areas. Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on August 17, 2021. The Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program is a $1 billion program that will award grants to eligible entities to expand access to and adoption of: (i) broadband service on Tribal Land; or (ii) for programs that promote the use of broadband to access remote learning, telework, or telehealth resources during the COVID–19 pandemic. Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on September 1, 2021.
