Robin is a seasoned federal communications counsel, with experience representing providers of voice and data communications services over landline, wireless, and cable facilities. Her representation has included advocacy on policy-making, guidance on regulatory compliance, compliance training, business strategy and transactions, project management, contract negotiations and drafting, and complaint resolution. Her legal and regulatory counsel is complemented by her in-house experiences immersed in the day-to-day business operations of two of the industry’s larger carriers. She has also worked with state regulators on numerous matters.Robin has worked in the communications field since 1997 on a wide array of issues impacting the industry, ranging from implementation of some of the first interconnection agreements negotiated by MCI following the 1996 Act to implementation of the universal service and intercarrier compensation changes impacting mid-size and rural carriers following the FCC’s adoption of the Connect America Fund Order. Her advocacy and compliance work has spanned issues such as CPNI, CALEA, number portability, Lifeline, Open Internet, pole attachments, cyber security, cramming, and the National Broadband Plan to name a few. At FairPoint Communications she facilitated the company’s compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements in its acquisition of the Verizon landlines in three New England states.

With a 12-year-old son, Robin doesn’t have time to be an avid “anything,” but she loves to travel to new places when she can, walk on the beach, hike in the mountains, and read a good book in the hammock.
