The Federal Communications Commission has announced that the application filing window for Round 2 of the COVID-19 Telehealth Program (“Program”) will open on Tuesday April 29, 2021 at 12 PM ET and will close on May 6, 2021 at 12 PM ET. Eligible non-profit and public health care providers may apply for up to $1 million in funding to support the purchase of eligible telecommunications and broadband services and connected devices. Applications for the Program may be filed through the application portal, available at www.fcc.gov/covid19telehealth. Applicants that do not receive an award in the initial phase will receive a denial justification and the applicants will have ten days to supplement their applications. The Universal Service Administrative Company will administer the $249.95 million Program.
